Colors of Zion: Watercolor Postcard Workshop is a drop-in workshop perfect for all ages and skill levels.

Whether you're a curious beginner or a seasoned artist, savor your Zion National Park experience by creating your own postcards to frame or share with friends and family.

Dates: 

Saturday & Sunday, July 5 & 6
Saturday & Sunday, July 13 & 14 

Time: Drop-in between 4 and 7 PM. Workshop ends at 8 PM. 

Location: In the ballroom at Cable Mountain Lodge 147 Zion Park Blvd, Springdale, UT 84767. Springdale Shuttle Stop #1 or parking is available at the hotel.

Cost: $15 per person + $1 per postcard

* All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Workshop FAQs

What is a drop-in workshop?

A drop-in workshop is a flexible event where you can arrive and participate at any time during the scheduled hours. For our workshop, you can come by anytime between 4 PM and 7 PM to join in the fun. Stay as long as you like and create at your own pace. The workshop ends at 8 PM.

What can I expect?

You can expect a welcoming, creative environment where all ages and skill levels are invited to explore the art of watercolor. We provide all the necessary supplies and our workshop facilitator is there to offer guidance and inspiration.

I'm not an artist, will this workshop be hard?

Not at all! This workshop is designed for all skill levels, from curious beginners to seasoned artists. Our workshop facilitator will provide guidance and support to help you enjoy the process of creating your own watercolor postcards. Come and have fun with us!

What will I make?

You will create your own watercolor postcards. These unique keepsakes can be framed, shared with loved ones, or mailed to friends as mementos of your time in Zion National Park.

Where is the workshop and how do I get there?

The workshop is in the ballroom at Cable Mountain Lodge, which is part of Zion Canyon Village and located at the entrance to Zion National Park.

You can take the free Springdale Line Shuttle to Stop #1.

If you are driving, park in the Cable Mountain Lodge parking lot.

Look for our workshop signs or check with hotel staff for directions to the ballroom.

All shuttle buses are wheelchair accessible.

Cable Mountain Lodge has handicap parking in front of the hotel and the workshop is located on the first floor.
